Continuing Education for Practicing Veterinary Acupuncturists

Evidence-Based Veterinary Acupuncture (EBVA) offers a flexible, online learning opportunity to veterinarians who have been certified in veterinary acupuncture to deepen their expertise and stay at the forefront of neuroanatomically-based acupuncture.

We also allow non-certified veterinarians with an interest in acupuncture to sign up for the online-only portion in order to learn more about this exciting new skillset before committing to a full accreditation program.

Certification will not be granted without subsequent attendance of in-person sessions.

Each level includes 20-24 hours of asynchronous, self-paced, RACE-approved course work designed to advance your clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Open to all licensed veterinarians
  • Fully online, no in-person labs required
  • Access is valid for up to one year from registration
  • Advanced, clinically relevant content
  • Option to pursue full EBVA certification later
  • Completion of the online levels qualifies as IVAS credit for required continuing education
  • Tuition is $1,800 per level

Please note:

  • The online-only track is not eligible for EBVA certification. Full EBVA accreditation requires participation in both online and in-person components. See in-person course listings.

  • For EBVA-certified acupuncturists, these courses count toward the 100 hours of CE required every 10 years to maintain certification.
