Continuing Education for Practicing Veterinary Acupuncturists

Evidence-Based Veterinary Acupuncture (EBVA) offers a flexible, online learning opportunity to veterinarians who have been certified in veterinary acupuncture to deepen their expertise and stay at the forefront of neuroanatomically-based acupuncture.

We also allow non-certified veterinarians with an interest in acupuncture to sign up for the online-only portion in order to learn more about this exciting new skillset before committing to a full accreditation program.

Certification will not be granted without subsequent attendance of in-person sessions.

Each level includes 20-24 hours of asynchronous, self-paced, RACE-approved course work designed to advance your clinical knowledge and skills.

Open to all licensed veterinarians
Fully online, no in-person labs required
Access is valid for up to one year from registration
Advanced, clinically relevant content
Option to pursue full EBVA certification later
Completion of the online levels qualifies as IVAS credit for required continuing education
Tuition is $1,800 per level

Please note:

The online-only track is not eligible for EBVA certification. Full EBVA accreditation requires participation in both online and in-person components. See in-person course listings.
For EBVA-certified acupuncturists, these courses count toward the 100 hours of CE required every 10 years to maintain certification.
